![]() La Quinta failed to deliver this, and charged me anyway. But I think it's fair for me to expect a clean comfortable room, with adequate lighting and reasonable security. And look, I don't have super high expectations for a La Quinta. I have stayed in some mediocre places around the world. I booked a room at another hotel, grabbed my stuff (which I hadn't even unpacked), and left. It wasn't even 10pm, and I had seen and heard enough. A loud argument erupted in an adjoining room, with what sounded like furniture hitting the door. The hallway then filled with marijuana smoke. Stuff was being thrown into the hallways. Two Las Vegas Metro Police cruisers rolled into the parking lot. about two hours later, some sort of loud eviction started almost next door. I left to get dinner and figure out my next steps. I think that they were not washed, but just made up again. The sheets on the bed didn't look changed, and felt sticky. There was a sketchy stain on the desk chair, bodily fluids, maybe. Carpet stains adorned both sides of the bed in stereo, making it look like a murder scene. ![]() A light flickered outside-on, off, on, off. When I got to my room, it wasn't much better. LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM LAS VEGAS AIRPORT N CONV MOVIELighting is poor throughout the hallways, with dim and flickering lights that make you feel like you're in a horror movie (I called to complain, and was informed that management is somehow unable to buy light bulbs). Other travelers, just arriving from Germany, looked at me, and I looked at them. I took the creaky, graffiti-covered elevator upstairs to discover what awaited me. Look, I'm from the Pacific Northwest, where marijuana is everywhere, but this was really bad-like walking into a dispensary. When I walked in, I was punched in the face with the strong odor of marijuana. The owners of this hotel have clearly decided to stop maintaining it. I do believe this is an anomaly with respect to La Quinta as we have stayed in dozens of La Quinta in the past and will continue to do so, just never, ever again at this location.… I did not feel safe going out to our vehicle without my husband accompanying me. The final affront was the possibly drug addicted, mentally ill homeless l people roaming the parking lot. Feces on the pavement, piles in the few dirt areas for dogs to relieve themselves, in the gravel areas leading into the hotel, in the grass areas, everywhere, simply everywhere. LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM LAS VEGAS AIRPORT N CONV WINDOWSThe exterior of this property is truly filthy, trash receptacles overflowing, garbage all over the parking lot, derelict cars in the parking lot (obviously derelict, flat tires, trash under and around, windows covered in dust/dirt) and hundreds of piles of dog feces. My husband was given a can of room deodorizer when he complained. We checked other hotels for available rooms to no avail. The odor of dirty carpet, old furniture and other odors I can only describe as gross was overwhelming in our room. The odor only got worse when walking down the hallway to our room. While the desk clerk was welcoming and efficient, the pervasive bad odor in the desk area should have been a warning, as well as the grimy doors leading into the building. To state that this location is lacking in those areas is massive understatement. We choose La Quinta because of their pet policy, the consistency of the cleanliness, the quality of the grounds and building upkeep. ![]() We stay at La Quinta Inn &Suites almost exclusively when we travel and have stayed at this location in the past.
